Not bad for a McJob!!

Speaking of visiting the old joint. I even had some time this summer and was looking for a part time job. So how better to spend it than in the heady haze of a compactor room, the clean as you go environment and dealing with those charming customers.

I handed in an application form and havent heard anything since.

Well I was heading out on the raz and was passing the old place. decided to pop in and see what was happening. I really thought I would be in and out without being recognised but bumped into this fine lady:-

Yvonne is a manager in Trongate McDonalds. Lives in Airdrie and has two children (hope I'm right about all that). I dont have any funny stories about Yvonne just remember that she was always lovely. Of course if anyone can remember any amusing stories I will gladly post it :o)

Tommy Shaw

For the past few weeks it seems that everywhere I go, Tommy Shaw is following me. After meeting him on the street one day for the first time in years we seem to have become supermarket buddies as every time I go to morrisons he is bloodywell there.

Mr Shaw is still looking good and is going to become a driving instructor soon. I think he said he had three weans and is enjoying life....of course he still misses the good old days :o)
