Iain Main.... Man!!
The first store manager I met was the big guy Iain Main. Shown here as happy as ever in the stockroom.Wasn't long after I started there was a big night out in the pub where I ended up calling him "concorde nose", Next day, when I had the flash back, I was crapping it to go in but the big guy was a sport... he took it on the nose...sorry I mean chin!!!
Circumstances surrounding his departure are sketchy....due to my memory of course.... but it had something to do with some dodgy stuff regarding his wife who worked in the office. Although I have been reliably informed that Iain actually went onto work for another branch after he left Trongate. But I'm sure there was some dodgy wife thing going on.
No idea what the Main Man is doing these days or where he went after McDonalds.

I can confirm that the office incident to which you refer was some time prior to Ian's departure. You may recall that he spent his final years as a McManager in Springburn after the aledged incident.
Iain left Springburn McD's to become a trainee manager with Safeway - last heard of as a Department Mgr in Safeway in East Kilbride
I can confirm that the big man is working for morrisons. shawsy met up with him at Bristol airpot about 2 years ago. he still lives in busby!!
